I feel ashamed rather worried about the future of society where majority of seasoned politicians and anchors of famous talk shows make fun of a person who has suffered from heart attack by calling him coward. These anchors and their political guests are setting mind set and thinking pattern of society where literacy rate is extremely low. Their venom is spreading only hatred and unrest among already confused nation. This practice is mainly contributing towards destruction of social values.
If this is a criteria set for putting label of coward on someone then we should include new meaning of heart attack in medical dictionaries & we can easily find cowards in our family and friends and get ready to be one of them because it can happen to anyone.
We are as a nation in denial phase to accept that he is the only person rather statesman in history of Pakistan who has shown courage to face all fabricated cases against him even when situation is not in his favour and he has several life threats and very rare chance of getting justice from judiciary who has already given adverse remarks against him. We easily say that it is his miscalculation or dis-illusion about his popularity that he came back to Pakistan. However, we have never consider his loyalty and love towards his homeland and cleanses of his conscious which brought him back.
In my view; the person who ran away from country by submitting forgiveness deed for all the cases against him and leaving behind his party members is coward. The person who use his constitutional powers for personal vendetta is coward. The person who change loyalty with time for personal gains is coward. The person who gain power on sympathy votes is coward.
However, coward cannot be a person who has practically fought wars for our motherland, who has given respect to our country in all fronts during difficult times, who has given financial autonomy to countrymen when we were at brink of default state and who is brave enough to enter enemy lines and fight back.
I wish him all the best and pray for his early recovery and salute him and standby him for all the goods things he has done for Pakistan.
